Conifer Grafting
Sunday
Feb 26th
Special demonstration of hot callus grafting & workshop. Participants will
learn a little about why so many propagators don't graft as low as we would
like. If
you'd like to make some low grafts for bonsai you might need to take some time
and make a few yourself.
Participants will be able to prepare their own grafts and use Great Hills
facility to propagate five bonsai grafts.
A follow-up meeting required to pick-up finished material.

Repotting Workshop

April 15th
Lecture/demonstration
will focus on repotting established bonsai. Participants are expected to bring
as many bonsai as time allows.

Forest Bonsai

Forest bonsai are always a treasure! In this demonstration and corresponding workshop Large group of five Foemina Junipers will be arranged on a 24 inch rock slab to create a beautiful forest.
