We thank you for the opportunity to serve you. This is our seventh year of mail-order operation for Riverbend Gardens with over 20 years in the business. We are a small specialty grower, propagating select plants suitable for bonsai culture. In 2008 we will be increasing the amount of quality propagations of rooted cuttings and grafting many plants as low as possible. Often plants are grafted at a higher level when the understock makes a better choice for the trunk region below your first branch, a technique often used in Japan for five-needle varieties. All plants are noted in plant description as to method and suitability for bonsai since many trees are also sold for landscape use.

 

Many of our selections are extremely rare and do sell out early. We do not keep standard hours here and for this reason pick up of plants or supplies requires an appointment with us. Also if you are in our area private instruction and services are also available, and would very happy to work with you.
